The Samsung Galaxy M12 will perhaps offer the most battery capacity per dollar when it comes out early next year. The phone is said to have a 7,000 mAh battery, same as the M51, and will be an entry-level model in Samsung’s affordable M-series.
OnLeaks published renders of the upcoming phone, showing design very similar to the already official Galaxy A42 5G. Now the leakster has created a short video showing the M12 from various angles (and how the two-texture back reflects light at different angles).
The Galaxy M12 will measure 163.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm, a fraction narrower and thinner than the M51’s 163.9 x 76.3 x 9.5 mm. Like it, it will have a plastic frame, which will help keep the weight down (but we’re probably still looking at 200+ grams phone). The screen is said to be 6.5” in diagonal, though sometimes these measurements are off by a tenth (for comparison, the M51 has a 6.7” screen).
This phone has appeared as both the SM-M127F and SM-F127G. The former should be the global version, which will trade under the M12 name, the latter looks to be the model for India, part of the new Galaxy F series.

The Pixel 4a is rather compact / light and appears quite capable.

Might be good. I just hope Samsung won't put Exynos 9611 there...
