it's 2024 H2 now,
but still missing to be low-mid-tier processor champ:

missing 512gb like Honor and others?
missing Ultrawide camera like Samsung and others?
missing IP Rated Water Resistant like Samsung and others?

but knowing Tecno, the price will be killer.
Realme C65 is the direct competitor for cheap and 256gb - only RM 699 / $ 149

Maybe the fight for lithium - the new petroleum - has an impact on how phones are stagnated in all segments except the premium/top tiers.

          The example you used is perfect to ilustrate that. I rarely saw people complaining about Snapdragon 680 in these phones you mentioned, but some in the comment section forgot that it's weaker than most Dimensity chipsets nowadays.

            By the way, Snapdragon 680 is way weaker than Dimensity 6080 and most people don't complain.

The phone I mean is Redmi Note 11, Realme 9... Samsung uses an even more garbage SoC, namely the Galaxy A13 with Exynos 850.

                  Around the back, we have a dual camera setup comprising 108MP primary and 2MP macro units.

                  But we see 3 cameras on the back so what is the 3rd one ?
