what's the point of making foldable devices as thin as possible *when folded*? i don't understand what are on companies' minds, i mean sure. a too thick device when folded are not great for UX, but by making it that way, it will encourage people to use the inner screen more. no?

Samsung is too big and powerful for now to be pushed out of stock. Xiaomi has the lowest quality android version I've ever used, not to mention it's a cheap looking iOS clone. I'll never buy Xiaomi ever again.

Thank god other companies are touching foldables and pushing samsung out of the stock. I cannot see another hot dog shaped phone that costs almost 10k in my currency, really hopefull for honor and xiaomi so far

so long there's a physical display, it can only be bar/flip/curved. there's only so much you can do but 10 or 20 years ago, it'd be mind blowing and crazy to have foldable phone.
innovative enough imo.

these fold phones just feel like pretend innovation until the next thing actually arrives. have yet to see one from any manufacturer in the wild. so what's the next thing ? better flip phones? we went from candy bar/bricks to flip phones back to bricks. flips are coming
