Have the 9 pro updates r very slow or non existent I would avoid I use to love zte I still have a blade v8 lol this thing just sucks honestly it’s ugly the fan is not needed or all the lights just waste battery I just kept it to play games

I'm not sure that ZTE, the owners of Nubia, ever were banned in the US. Huawei most definitely is as it's founder or CEO or something along those lines was ex-Chinese military. I had a Red Magic 6S 3 years ago, however mine suffered from the same problems as most other Chinese made phones, no updates, security patches.

Basically immediately after selling it, though, it was updated to OS 8.0 and later even to OS 9.0. I would've kept it if I knew that they were going to update it. Anyway, now I own a ROG Phone 7, which I am very happy with (the best speakers and basically stock Android), but the design of these ZTE phones is something else.

Man I want one device that's a mid-ranger in this exact design so bad. Flat screen, flat back, no camera bump, square design, under display camera. My god, this is all I want, just take out the high end SOC and the fan.

Just so you know guys, RedMagic has improved on providing software updates. My old RedMagic 7 received 3 software updates this year. One from January, April and June. That added features of the Gamespace of the RM9Pro.
Plus my RedMagic 8Pro got updated to the RedMagic OS 9.0 it's so far very good in terms on updates.
Meanwhile my old ROG Phone 3Strix and 6D, not just got their motherboard broken just within less a year of use but, prone to software bricking also everytime an update is released. Don't believe those fake commenters here saying RedMagic does not provide updates.
They've improved a lot compared to before.

- Pro+ came with a 24GB RAM option, the Pro didn’t.
- Pro+ came with 165W charging, the Pro with 80W
- Pro+ did have a smaller battery, 5500mAh vs 6500
Everything else was the same, even the colours. I’d take the bigger battery over the faster charging any day.
