I think the Flir brand is better in terms of thermal cameras. However, the Doogee V31 GT has a thermal camera from the InfiRay Tiny1-C brand and I think it has a higher resolution than the ThermoVue and the Flir. But I don't know which one is actually better in practice.

Now - why does successor 27T not have the same make thermal camera as the 25T? is ThermoVue no good or is FLIR cheaper?

They need to improve thermal cameras like DooGee. You can't have the same spec of thermal camera on every phone. We know rugged phones don't take good photos, but please improve night vision and thermal cameras.

interesting, its used a solid state battery to the contrary of the usual lithium, and its much cheaper than the xcover 7

would be my next phone! good job ulefone

Great tool to buy, I can check my home for leaks using the thermal camera.

This is a well-balanced design and configuration, and if the price is less than $500, it will replace many handheld thermal imaging devices. The Ulefone Armor 27T Pro will be the preferred device for maintenance workers and outdoor enthusiasts.

It is a different sensor, though with the same resolution according to its manufacturer, FLIR.

(See the drop down for variants, I have no idea if it is the 57 or 95 degree variant)

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2024The graphic does say UFS 3.1 but Dimensity 6300 is only UFS... moreYup the 25T graphics say UFS2.1, so expect the 27T to be the same.

Looking more at the specs, the 25T and 27T seems practically identical, with the 27T being thicker to hold the 63% larger battery. (So expect the same 160 x 120 thermal sensor)

My problem with it is finding parts if this decides not to work.
I like the casio g-shock inspired prototype design.
                                Cool specs.

Note that their "Armor 25T Pro" offers a thermal camera too, with just 160 x 120 pixels, so do not expect the 27T successor to be extremely much better here. High-res thermal cameras are expensive...

I have had several of the armour series and can't fault them I am looking at the 26 next but would like them in an ideal world to combine all the individual features of their phone range in to a flagship model, laser range finder thermal imaging night vision 200mp camera 22000mah battery walkie-talkie sat phone 1000 lumen torch etc and better still if it was ATEX or IECEx certified

For recording 4K@60 fps video 25 MB/s should be enough. Any high-quality microSD card will do for video recording, as they usually have a speed of up to 90 MB/s.
