This is so cringe, A.Island / AI.. Seriously.. the team who came up with this, the ones who approved this should get a mental check. Bad marketing is not good for the brand. This wont boost your numbers, you could have done a lot better considering the fact that oppo as a whole is one from top5 phone brands in the world.

David 040882, 12 Jun 2024They'll be DOA if they priced that high and with chips... moreI guess the Moto Razr 50 has the same chip for probably about the same price, but still, that's a clamshell foldable.

And also slightly downgraded is an exaggeration. The global Reno 12 Pro is worse than both the Chinese Reno 12 Pro and the global Reno 11 Pro. The vivo V40 Pro for about the same price (I'd imagine) should be far superior.

oppo spent millions to promote its brand in the Champions league
showed the find x7 ultra and in the end it didn't launch its top globally
and will launch the reno 12 Pro with a lower processor than the Chinese version and with an inferior camera sensor too
What a horrible marketing and expansion strategy is this?

Does Oppo think people will suddenly consider them as big brand because they paid a lot of money to UEFA for Champions League sponsorship?

They'll be DOA if they priced that high and with chipsets that weak for the price range
