No Xiaomi 14 Lite?

Downgrade the Soc to Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and UFS to 2.2.. Downgrade the screen protection to Victus 1.. Remove secondary front cam.. Downgrade front cam video recording to 1080p@60fps,

So, Xiaomi 14 Lite price will be competitive.

Doesn't Xiaomi have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 powered cellphone yet?

And yet no global release what a shame.

You comment missed the mark. Sorry that this is difficult for you to accept. But it is what it is.

We need a review on this one to see how these specs compare to actual experience; as well as some solid information on global availability. I don't understand why they would launch it only in India.

If u look at number of sales, yes, but in profit no, cause people in Europe and North America gets more expensive models which generates more profit than Indian market.

What's more insulting is the fact that it has way less 4G and 5G bands than the F6 in India. Even my Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G has more 4G and 5G bands than this device. Shame on you Xiaomi!

BMHater12 stated that due to this device not being launched in the EU, and being customized for India only, makes it DOA.

My comment was to indicate how silly that remark was. Not to mention that this is also sold in China as the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro. So essentially this device is being sold in the two largest markets.

This device is like a successor to the Xiaomi 13 Lite, as seen with European eyes. Only even closer to the 14, than Lite, duesto 8-series chipset and UFS 4.0. A price around USD 500 (₹43,000) for the 8/256GB model makes it a very attractive device. Not for me, as I live in Europe and prefer larger screen sizes, but the Civi/Lite series is a nice offering for those wanting a more compact device that doesn't really lack anything critical for a fairly nice price.

Who buys Xiaomi phones, lol. There was a time there when actually these phones were good alternatives for Samsung etc. but now? Too overpriced.

Indian consumers won't spend 50k on Chinese brands

This is just marketing mumbo jumbo. My Mi A1 (a budget to midrange phone) from 2017 has this, just that back then it was called what it actually was—a 2.5D screen.

European market is much more stronger than Indian one. Also Europe has half of India population, which implicate how stronger their market is.

                                        Edge 50 fusion 12GB/256GB = 400 Euros
                                        Edge 50 fusion 12GB/256GB = INR 25,000

                                        Edge 50 Pro 12GB/512GB = 700 Euros
Edge 50 Pro 12GB/256GB (had it been launched) = ~600 Euros
                                        Edge 50 Pro 12GB/256GB = INR 36,000

                                        Edge 50 Ultra 16GB/1GB = 1000 Euros
Edge 50 Pro 12GB/512GB (had it been launched) = ~800 Euros
Edge 50 Pro 12GB/512GB = INR 48,000-50,000 (Predicted, using similar multiplier)

Anyways, we will know soon enough.
