        Wufang05, 03 Jun 2024i get it, but cant help wonder with copying designs consume... moreIf people want the apple watch they'd get it with or without huawei copying their design, for smartwatches I do think a more rectangular design helps with displaying things as well as looking a bit better with the screen off, which is needed to maintain battery life.

        I know apple watch has it always on, but that's because their battery life can't last more than one day anyway.

        Now this fit 3 watch, 10 days, which is good, but like the Redmi watch 4 is 20 days easily, so if anything that's the best watch of the bunch.

            Bezels on the surface of the display are unnecessary and a waste of screen real estate, this needs to stop. No interest for this reason.

People wanted square watch design rather than rectangle ones. I myself preferred classic round designs but Huawei already has the Watch GT line for that.

                  While not exactly, as smart as Apple/Android watches, Huawei watches (and laptops) sell well because they just work. The fitness monitoring are excellent. They're well built and not too pricey to give a damn about when in use. And they could last for a week or two.

                  My GT2 lasted almost 4 years without slowing down, and it has seen lots of runs, canyoning, and hiking in bad weather.

                    features rich and inexpensive, I wonder How OEMs including Huawei is going to compete with that in the future. the only thing left is installing games and apps and it's not a big deal anyway.

                      All stores are out of stock due to unprecedented demand. Even preorders have to wait for weeks.

                      Of course the design is the reason for that. The design change was brought about by survey results from Health app users, me included. Sadly for Huawei watch fans, Apple fans also drove in to preorder the Fit 3 which has a square design like the pricey Apple Watch that needs charging almost daily. Truth be told, I don't see many iphone users who wear Apple watches. That would be too many too pricey things.

                      Of course the in-app watchface store isn't availble in the iOS app since Apple would require 30% Apple tax on that. For iOS Fit3 users, they would need to buy/download new watchfaces in the Health app with a spare android phone or pc emulator.

                                If you consider this feminine then you didn't see regular watches for women, because being round doesn't make it feminine just like being boxy doesn't make it manly.

                                I mean heck, I have seen more women wear a dead simple digital Casio watch back in the days than anything else.

                                Also by your logic a round watch is also too curved, and don't try to get around that, you claimed rounded mean feminine so round is that too.
