Oppo Find N3 Flip becomes first triple-camera clamshell foldable

Open sales in China start on September 8, while global availability is "coming soon".


Well its not the niciest flip phone on sale but still way better than some other competition.
At least it comes with nice accesories in box unlike others.

        Also worth knowing is Oppo brought the previous version to flat closure, yes Motorola had this before, yet critically with intensive endurance testing for heat and cold and UTG being less resistant to cracking due to opening and closing of 500K complete revolutions. Again pushing the competition.
        Now a telephoto could mean big things by the competition.

        This looks more fashionable like a make up case and if going global I think k Oppo will take some market share.

        The KEY here is the hint of that slide-out switch in 3positions. Meaning Oppo & OnePlus will each have their own. Ersions of a communicator style foldable Launching soon! I still think as separate sizes!

          personally, would be better if they spread out the cameras vertically and cover with a black panel which flush with the smaller screen

                  goodness, that front panel is so ugly , this one has already lost against the flip 5 and the new razr.

A 50MP 1/2.55"-type 3× would make a lot more sense. The 2× can be handled by the wide camera, and with the 3× telephoto, you can get a zoom reach of 3× to 6× without problems thanks to hybrid zoom.

                      It would be even better if the 3× was a periscope telephoto, but it should still be very good even if it's not a periscope-style telephoto.

                          Looks like it's gonna be overpriced in Europe so Z Flip 5 is gonna be better value for flip fans.

                            Just like vivo x90 pro the emphasis is on portrait images hence the 2x telephoto. But still it would be nice to have longer zoom

The 50MP wide can already produce lossless 2× zoom anyway, so the 2× telephoto just wastes space that could've been used for other things, such as a larger battery for example. Also, it increases the price of the device, all for a redundant sensor whose job can already be done by the wide sensor anyway.

                                    Having a triple camera setup with a telephoto sensor is great, but the outer screen doesn't look that big. I guess it's still a real challenge to give a Razr 40 Ultra-like outer screen with a triple camera setup.
