Redmi Note 7 Pro as some people say will eat this device sales alive, cause is more "bang for the buck" in specs, cause the 1080 display over this amoled 720.
Meanwhile who like the vanilla android will buy this just for the OS and not because the display.
- My Mi9 is 1080 amoled and in youtube at 1080 videos i can see some pixelation, so...in 720 it will be twice as much and i need to belive is really really a bad experience.

Xiaomi have a really attractive phones. But i believe that they made a mistake with this Mi A3. It should have been an alternative to the K20 and K20 Pro for Android One enthusiasts. Sadly it's not and for me a clear downgrade to not make it competitive against their other phones. Perhaps the sales of the A2 wasn't as good so that promoted this phone. Who knows. Anyways i don't see it competitive and those from Motorola One are overpriced too.
Not a good time for Android One for now. For stock android better wait till the Pixel 4 XL and/or the Pixel mid-rangers. The Pixel 4 doesn't seem appealing to with that tiny leaked battery. We will see.

Don't Ruin Mi A series by launching this in INDIA, Xiaomi seems to be intentionally damaging the reputed A series. 720p display, Processor big disappointment.
A1 -- Good
A2 -- Bad, No ear phone jack, less battery for a bigger screen compared to Mi A1
A3 -- Don't ask.
Waiting for Realme to launch Android one in mid range segment

This might find a niche audience among Android purists, who want a big battery , stock UI, microSD card and good gaming performance (thanks to the 720p resolution).
But I think overall, Note 7 Pro with sd675 is an overall better all rounder.

Its already here in my country I was thinking to buy this over my a70 but nah, too small, not premium cannot compare to A70 no day.
