Phone overheats even on long calls/video calls. Was on video call for 45 minutes - it became VERY hot at the back. I can imagine if you played games. My old Nokia, I could talk for hours, it would be still cold. I returned mine.

Anikwap2, 01 Jul 2024Your model is Moto G54 but this is Moto G64No, There are many G64 owner(including me) whose cpu model is showing 7020 instead of 7025 in the Moto's own "Device Help" app.
I checked the hardware in several 3rd party apps like cpu-z, cpu-x, Aida64. All of them showed 7025 but when it comes to heavy load the max frequency of cpu never go beyond 2.2Ghz which indicates its actually a Dimensity 7020 not 7025. And I doubt Moto has rebranded G54 power as G64 which is not expected from such a giant company.
And another thing to mention regarding G64. Despite it has OIS on specs, but I didn’t see any noticable stabilization difference on video recording using ois & keep stabilization off. In both cases video footage become shaky.

Assalamualaikum.I have bought moto g 64 5g phone 12/256 GB today . It's processor is mediatec Dimensity 7020. But It would have Dimensity 7025. It's an Indian made phone. Why is it not 7025?

peter, 17 Jun 2024when comes this to europe ? i like high res lcd better than... morethe phone also has an indented side fingerprint scanner (it protects the scanner if a bit indented), which i much prefer to the onscreen fingerprint scanner and it has a wide rim, which protects the display somewhat from a flat fall. the flat falls are the most problematic.
a flat fall has given scratches on one of my devices... the wide rim would absorb the energy a bit if combined with a case.

when comes this to europe ? i like high res lcd better than amoled. and dont like edge design. unfortunately some things do not work with my older p40 lite. but Huawei lites are and were very good. nfc for paris underground does not work eg. with lite. has some compatibility issues.

Anyone noticed there is a red light always blinking near to the earpiece, which is visible through camera lance, can't see with naked eyes. Is it ambient light sensor or proximity sensor?

This phone has an issue for FM Radio. although it has FM Radio but the service is stopped somehow by manufacturer. FM Radio is not working in India.

This phones ticks all the boxes for me as a secondary phone under 15k except OS Updates. Only one OS update is unacceptable. Looks like Samsung F15 is a better bet despite its relatively inferior processor.

Iam very disappointed with gsmarena... 😭😭😭
