If this gets at just 500 dollars, it would be a very nice mid ranger, since it has SD 888 performance with SD8+ Gen 1 stability and that USB 3.0 is a really nice adition

We want bootloader unlock, we want to be able to root our phones. It's unacceptable that HTC isn't allowing this. They've ticked so many boxes with U24 pro it will be a shame if they don't this one we won't buy.

Soon or later there will be zero phones with SD slots and Jack.
Like in past memory or ram options and cards were very costly nowdays one can buy 512GB SD card for like 30-40 euros within EU.
In past diference between 32GB and 64GB were like 50-100 eur.
Nowdays difference between 256 or 512 is like 20-50 euros.
Before 2030 we will have a 10Terabytes phones which will cost not more than current 1TB devices.

It wasnt me it wasnt you it wasnt many else users.
For sake of income and so called greed for money world goes to wireless whether you want it or not. Companies going this way.
Its not mine decision buy whathewer you want but your options will be more and more slim each year until you will have nothing left just go wireless.

Ancient sure, but still relevant.
Maybe it is not relevant to you, but generally speaking, going through life you learn to respect what other people need and want even if it's different then what would you personally think. That's called listening and respectint an opinion.
Your opinion looks like that's the fact and only truth out there, but it can't be. You can't call people living in cage because they know what they want and why. How is that helpful? That's not even an opinion. You are doing this for several years. Always finding something people want but you find your reasonings to put them down and then "fight to win a debate" over nothing. We don't have to win! Some people just want a choice but you always fi d a way to deffe d what corporate companies want us to believe is better. Because you know... We have to keep buying new. Thete's no use if the product is too good and last for too long. No profit for companies right? And you started advocate that opinion just about time when all the Chinese brands started copying what Apple started amd Samsung ironically copied just one year later. And we all know how vocal you cam be if someone critisize Chinese brands even if it's a personal choice and shouldn't be a mandatory to depend only on Cloud services for more memory or bluetooth buds for our audio experience. But here we are. Without no choice, except few devices like this one or some other lower tier phones and Xperia's who have a choice, but then it's always that one grumpy guy whose trying to explain how ancient tech we use and telling us we're stuck in the past.
So how is that helpful?
