FYI the X8b has NFC in Europe.
I got the device because i wanted to try it out but MagicOS is truely alienating. It was souring the experience, which is a shame because the hardware is really nice. The vegan leather feels soft but not too soft. The device is quite thin and bezels are rather uniform for a cheap phone. I really didn't want to return the device already but i feel like i have to.

Don't buy this phone. It is full of bugs. Once I hide my photos to the hidden folder. The hidden folder was vanished. Couldn't recover those photos even. There are no any method to recover them even in the internet.

Bought it first released & regret it.
Cpu =trash. no NFC=trash. No gyro=trash.
Honor X8B should use SD695 5G/D6100+.
Malaysia price is MYR999 same price with infinix GT10pro, Pova 6pro & note 40pro. All this phone have 5G, NFC-wireless (note40pro)
What im saying is its too expensive just for big storage & design.

One major upgrade and a few years of security patches but quarterly only just as Xiaomi does for it's more affordable phones but at least you sometimes get two major upgrades and more of their UI upgrades as well compared to Honor. Never the less these Honor devices are most of the time better build compared to Xiaomi budget offerings (at least in my experience). Honor has always been more expensive than other brands operating in the same segments and as such not really popular, at least not in Europe.

Pricing actually not far from iQoo Z9 (not the turbo), and POCO X6 Pro.
If really want to spend, spend at something such as POCO X6 Pro, or Xiaomi 13T.
Not saying POCO X6 Pro and Xiaomi 13T are the best of the world, but for the money paid, it is big bangs for buck, at least day to day usage cover more than enough for years to come.
For Honor, at least need to spend until Honor 90 or Honor Magic 5 only can be considered good for a few years usage.
