The Honor Magic6 series is coming sometime next year (though it could be earlier) and we know the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be front and center.
Today we can add a very important detail to the puzzle - the main camera sensor. According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the imager in question will be the OV50K and the Honor Magic6 will be the first phone with it.

We don't yet know the size of the sensor, but given that the OV50H has a 1/1.3" optical design, the rumors that the OV50K is a 1-inch design make sense.
This would make the OV50K the only 1-inch type smartphone sensor after the popular and now aging Sony IMX989.
The Honor Magic6 will be camera-centric so it would be very interesting to see what other cameras it will have on board. The Magic5 Pro has a 90mm periscope and a 13mm ultrawide.

no, it's not. I'm most of the times using 10x+ zoom and it's really handy to have it on my S23 Ultra.

It depends on what you wants to do. Saying it is useless most of the time could be true for some people, but not for everyone, but I agree a 5x is more often used indeed. I can't wait for a phone to offer continuous optical zoom from like 4x-10x...

Yeah, why does the review for the Honor6 talk about Sony-move-over if Sony has a new multi layer sensor adopted by several brands? Does GSMArena know what's going on?
