The prototype pays tribute to the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally-winning Mini Cooper S with a distinctive livery featuring a prominent '37' logo and an eye-catching camouflage design.

While technical specifications remain under wraps, the JCW E Prototype is expected to offer performance, surpassing the standard Cooper SE's 218 horsepower. With its aggressive design, featuring prominent side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a roof-mounted spoiler, the JCW E Prototype hints at its potential to deliver a vastly improved driving experience.
While Mini is stepping into the electric hot hatch segment, it's not abandoning its petrol-powered roots. A gas-powered JCW variant is also in the works, ensuring that Mini enthusiasts still have a choice between traditional and electric powertrains.

The Mini JCW is set to be unveiled in the fall of 2024. If - and it’s a big if - the new JCW is a real deal and not a marketing exercise, it may be able to convince a number of die-hard petrol heads to convert.
