Redmi K70 Ultra Set to Impress with Top-Tier Performance and IP68 Support

The last member of the Redmi K70 series has finally started to gain official attention. Known as the “Ultra” and “Supreme Edition” in mainland China, Redmi’s general manager, Wang Teng, has hinted that the Redmi K70 Ultra will excel in terms of price/performance ratio.

This year, supply chain costs have increased significantly. While some products have seen minimal upgrades but substantial price hikes, it’s understandable given the circumstances. However, Redmi promises a stronger performance, a more comprehensive flagship experience, and a more sincere commitment to offering a competitive price-performance ratio.

Wang Teng’s comments suggest that the new model may not necessarily maintain the same price as its predecessor. The good news is that it should be the only flagship phone this summer to support IP68. Last year’s K60 Ultra also supported IP68.

Expected features of the Redmi K70 Ultra include MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ chipset with Cortex-X4 mega-cores up to 3.4GHz, a flagship 12-core Immortalis-G720 GPU, 24GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, a 5500mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and the Light Hunter 800 main camera.
