At the ongoing 2024 Mobile World Congress (MWC2024) at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, tech giant ZTE, in collaboration with China Mobile, released AI-supported naked-eye 3D full-scene new products, including the 3D phone – ZTE Voyage 3D.
The 3D phone relies on ZTE’s ‘Neovision 3D Anytime’ breakthrough 2D-to-3D technology and the deep integration of 5G and AI to bring consumers a more immersive and richer naked-eye 3D experience. This function is based on advanced AI neural network deep learning algorithms, providing users with an unprecedented 3D visual feast. The ZTE Voyage 3D adopts AI stereoscopic eye-tracking technology with a 60° wide viewing angle, accurately tracking the user’s eyes and adjusting the display algorithms to the best 3D display state in real-time.
It features real-time AI Wisdom translation, face-to-face chatting with translation, an AI Wisdom voice intelligent assistant, and a series of functions such as chatting and dialoguing, knowledge Q&A, creative writing, food reviews, and more. AI Magic can eliminate redundant content in photos. These powerful functions are based on the AI intelligent big model.
In terms of hardware configuration, the front of the phone has a 6.58-inch high-definition naked-eye 3D display, which supports real-time conversion from 2D to 3D across the whole scene. It includes a rear 50-megapixel AI camera, a 4,500mAh battery, and a 33W fast charger.
Regarding software ecology, ZTE, and China Mobile’s Migu Video have joined forces to create a new experience of naked-eye 3D video. The 6GB+128GB version starts at 1499 yuan.
Nubia Pad 3D II
ZTE also released the world’s first 5G + AI naked-eye 3D tablet, the Nubia Pad 3D 2nd generation, with the 12GB + 256GB version priced at 6499 yuan. It is also the world’s first 5G + AI naked-eye 3D tablet.
The Nubia Pad 3D II is equipped with a 12.1-inch 2.5K large screen, with 2560 × 1600 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It features four symmetrical speakers, DTS:X Ultra immersive 3D sound, dual-microphone noise cancellation, and 1W full-range speakers, providing a powerful audio-visual experience.
In terms of 3D performance, the 3D screen display resolution has increased by 80% compared to its predecessor, the 3D screen brightness has increased by 100%, and it now includes AI human eye tracking functionality. This allows for faster response speed and real-time accurate positioning of the user’s eye position, ensuring the 3D screen is accurately projected into the human eye for a natural and realistic 3D display state. With an 86-degree large viewing angle, users can see stunning 3D images from almost any angle.
Additionally, the Nubia Pad 3D II is equipped with a new generation of AI engine super bionic eye dual camera solution. The 13-megapixel rear dual camera and 8-megapixel front dual camera allow for 3D content creation anytime, anywhere, and support real-time HDR.
Other hardware features of the Nubia Pad 3D II include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, UFS4.0, and LPDDR5X flagship combination, providing up to 512GB of large storage and strong performance.
