RedMagic 9S Pro to Feature Cutting-Edge AI and Enhanced CPU/GPU

As we approach the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen4, many believe that Snapdragon 8 Gen3-powered phones are a thing of the past. However, this is not the case. Numerous flagship phones are still set to be released, including the Realme GT6 and Samsung’s new foldable, both expected next month.

In an unexpected move, the gaming brand RedMagic announced today that the RedMagic 9S Pro will make its global debut featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 Leading Version, establishing a new benchmark for performance.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen3 Leading Edition retains the architectural design of its regular version, featuring a three-cluster CPU layout. This includes one mega-core, five large cores, and two small cores. The megacore CPU’s main frequency has been upgraded to 3.4GHz, and the GPU frequency has been boosted to 1GHz.

Additionally, the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 Leading Edition offers a more powerful generative AI experience. It supports running a model with 10 billion parameters on the terminal side, capable of generating an image through Stable Diffusion in less than a second.

The RedMagic 9S Pro also has LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.0 flash storage, and under-screen camera technology. The new product will debut on July 3, with the launch event featuring both the RedMagic 9S Pro and the 9S Pro+ models.
