Xiaomi Achieves 10,000 SU7 Deliveries: A Hard Task, with an Even Harder One Ahead

Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, today published a brief report covering the latest updates regarding the Xiaomi SU7. He announced, “Since the first delivery on April 3, we have delivered 10,000 units in 43 days! This is a major milestone for Xiaomi.”

He continued, “As the first car product introduced by a mobile phone company, and a pure electric sedan, completing 10,000 new car deliveries in 43 days is no easy task.”

Lei Jun also highlighted Xiaomi’s future ambitions, stating, “We are continuing to expand our production capacity to ensure we deliver 100,000 units this year. Thank you for your interest and support, and thank you to our fellow owners for your patience and tolerance!

Despite the current orders being scheduled through 2025, Lei Jun acknowledged the challenge of meeting demand. Currently, having reached 10% of this goal, Xiaomi recognizes the need to further strengthen its production capabilities.
