Xiaomi Mix Flip Spotted in the Wild, Pictures and Specs Set to Amaze

A new smartphone model, the Xiaomi 2405CPX3DC, recently passed 3C certification, indicating support for 67W fast charging. It is expected to be Xiaomi’s first vertical folding phone, the MIX Flip. Alongside, insiders have reported the main parameters of this new device, along with suspected real-life pictures.

According to the leaked images, the upper back side of the Xiaomi Mix Flip is divided into two parts. The upper layer houses a dual camera module with dual flash, featuring Leica branding. Below that lies a large secondary display, significantly larger than existing small vertical foldable mobile phones. It is expected to introduce new functionalities and interactions, with a broader range of third-party software compatibility.

Rumored specifications include a main camera equipped with a Light Hunter 800 sensor (OV50E), measuring 1/1.55 inches and boasting a 50-megapixel resolution, with support for OIS optical stabilization. Additionally, there will be an OV60A telephoto lens with a sensor size of 1/2.8 inches and a unit pixel area of 0.61μm, enabling 2x optical zoom.

Other anticipated features comprise a large 4900mAh battery pack, a 32-megapixel OV32B selfie camera, a custom 1.5K foldable display, and the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chipset from Qualcomm. The device is set to compete with upcoming models like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 and the recently released Huawei Pocket 2.
