Xiaomi 15 Pro to Reintroduce Missing Feature After Three Generations

Xiaomi 15 Pro To Reintroduce Missing Feature

Xiaomi, one of the top smartphone manufacturers, is currently working on the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Series of smartphones, which are expected to be released in the fourth quarter of this year.

Currently, the Xiaomi 15 Series is in the NPI stage. According to reports from insiders, the Xiaomi 15 Pro NPI imaging system still features a 50MP ultra-large bottom three-camera multi-focal length solution. The most interesting upgrade in the camera system is reported to be Xiaomi testing an industry-new periscope telephoto lens on the Xiaomi 15 Pro model.

As we know, the Xiaomi 11 Pro is the last model equipped with a periscope telephoto lens, while subsequent models such as the Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 14 Pro use an upright telephoto lens. Only the Ultra models of the series are equipped with a periscope telephoto.

After three generations of flagship models without a periscope telephoto, the Xiaomi 15 Pro has once again opted to come with a periscope lens, which will drastically improve its zoom capabilities. This will give users better image quality and a longer focal length, allowing them to shoot longer distances with more stable images.

The report further mentioned that the Xiaomi 15 Pro will also come with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 mobile platform, which is the first time the chip is made using TSMC’s 3nm process, making the Xiaomi 15 Pro one of the first Xiaomi flagship phones with a 3nm chip.

In addition, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will carry a 2K resolution new substrate full-depth micro-curved screen that remains unchanged, along with 100W flash charging and a silicon negative electrode high-density battery, according to the insider.
