Here are three tips from our team at LensCrafters Studio, who've mastered the art of engaging this savvy generation: 1. Entertainment First, Product Second: We created a hit video where college students participated in a "meme reenactment" challenge to win concert tickets. The catch? They had to use XYZ App, a language learning software, to understand the meme’s foreign text. While XYZ App was crucial in the challenge, the primary focus was on the fun and relatability of the challenge. It showcased the app’s usefulness in a real-world, entertaining context, resonating with the Gen Z ethos of authentic content. 2. Authenticity Over Polish: Gen Z prefers content that feels real. That's why we opt for a more casual, "homemade" style. Our video for a sustainable fashion brand featured influencers discussing eco-friendly lifestyles while casually wearing the brand's clothes. The setting was informal, like a group hangout, making the brand presence feel natural and unforced. 3. Align With Their Values: Gen Z cares about issues like sustainability and social justice.
