reinstall macos with 8GB key or 4.7dvdrw?

hello

i have a mid-2010 macbook pro
i'd like to reinstall it.
i have only a 8GB usb key, and a 4.7GB dvdrw.
i have a windows/linux computer.

i tried lot of things but i just dont know : how could i reinstall macos system on it?

What do you have on the MacBook 2010, snow leopard?
if so you can install Mountain Lion on that.
here is some great links on how to perform such a nice task.
and Apple has the latest versions of OS on their site as well

in a way, im especially loooking for a way to reinstall it using a file not larger than 8.00GB, because the size of my usb key, or 4.7GB dvd.. and i havent found it
