MacOS feels faster in 'light mode'

This is 100% not a joke post, despite the title

Im not sure why there is this perception for me, but doing everything from launching apps to gestures etc 'feels' faster in Light Mode as opposed to Dark Mode. Im sure there is no real science to this, but does anyone else have this perception or am I just going crazy?

Didn't you go to school? You've heard of the speed of light, right? That's why it's faster. Dark mode has to go the speed of dark.
