The Leapmotor C16 is a 6-seat SUV aimed at the family market that will be offered in EREV and BEV variants.
Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) plans to launch its new model, the C16, on June 28, with a launch event starting at 7 pm Beijing time.
The company began pre-sales of the SUV (sport utility vehicle) at the Beijing auto show in late April, and previously said the C16 would start at less than RMB 200,000 yuan ($27,560) in its top trim.
