Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing
Job Purpose:
To establish Burberry China as the pioneering leader in social & digital innovation within the luxury industry (and beyond).
Key Responsibilities:
(1) SOCIAL INFLUENCER
Strategically plan social content an influncers strategy based on marketing calendar, campaigns and key commercial moments.
Build, maintain and manage strong relationships with social influencers on key platforms such on Little Red book, WeChat, Weibo, Douyin and Bilibili, especially on Little Red book.
Inspire, supervise and monitor the KOL content projects, performance, provide post report and key learnings.
Manage and track social influencer budget
(2) LOCAL YOUNG TALENT CONTENT COLLABORATION PROGRAM
Lead local young talents content collaboration program, build connections with young talents and manage the communication in collaboration projects.
(3) DIGITAL INNOVATION
Support digital innovation programs, including social retail mini-program, gaming, NFTs, etc.
Role Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience of social influencers & social trends in China social platforms, an Little Red Book expert is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, being able to communicate with influencer teams, agencies, and internal partners.
- Experience in creative and social content development — being able to collaborate well with creative teams and production teams on a variety of media formats (film, stills, illustrations, CGI, experiential, etc).
- Strong project management skills — able to influence cross-functional stakeholders and external agencies to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Highly collaborative team player who is able to build and nurture strong relationships across the organization, including with Global marketing and digital stakeholders in London.
- Native or excellent Chinese proficiency; fluent and highly comfortable in English (speaking, presenting, writing).
- Direct agency leadership experience is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in luxury or premium brands a plus.
