About last night... we received a Canadian Health Food Association Award! I am so proud of our amazing team at Nuts For Cheese and so grateful to now be finding room in my carry on for not one, but two, awards celebrating diversity in business and the efforts that we've made as an organization to be leaders in this space. Inclusion is an action and the efforts of organizations and awards like this are such an important factor in building the fabric of an inclusive and committed community. My personal responsibility as a leader, and someone committed to continuous personal and professional growth is not something I take lightly. Thank you to everyone who is working to create a more equitable future and committing themselves to the work. And congratulations to all of the other finalists and award winners!

Another Natural Products Expo West in the books! ✔️ This was our third time exhibiting and it was the most Un-Brie-Lievable one yet! ✨ A fun filled week of sharing our cheeses and new cream cheeses with new fans and old friends, connecting with retail partners, industry folks and brand buddies, trying new innovations, cheesy team dinners, and so much more. Plus hearing the “oohs and aahs” when super passionate natural products fans sampled our cheese never gets old. 💛 Proud of the team for rocking the booth and bringing the heat *in new swag* yet again! Happy International Women’s Day! Nuts For Cheese is a proudly Woman Founded & Led Organization with incredible women in leadership at all levels of our team. We are also incredibly fortunate to work with so many amazing women and have such incredible friends and community in our industry. Celebrating you all today! 💕 This struck me over the last two days as our US Sales Manager, the incredible Candace Campbell, and I crushed 28 stores in two days in Colorado the week before meeting the rest of our women led sales and marketing teams in California for an Expo West. Without giving away any spoilers, we are so ready to knock everyone’s socks off thanks to the amazing prep work our marketing and sales teams have done. Who runs the world? Grrls! I mean, it’s true! As we sat in the lobby with delicious takeout to play email catch up after days full of meetings and driving from store to store, our team back in Canada absolutely rocked all things operations and production, supply chain, finance, and quality assurance at the plant. I seriously couldn’t imagine a more dedicated team to be sharing the journey with. As a 2SLGBTQI+ Rainbow Registered Business and a 50/30 challenge participating enterprise, we know that advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion is not just the right thing to do, it fosters strong businesses, dynamic teams, and advancement for all. Women and gender diverse led teams drive incredible innovation, collaboration, and straight up results!
