Wrapping Up NAIDOC Week 2024 This year's theme, ‘Keep The Fire Burning. Blak, Loud and Proud,’ celebrated the strength and spirit of First Nations communities across Australia. Throughout the week, we engaged in a variety of meaningful events in Perth and Karratha, including knowledge-sharing sessions, a flag raising ceremony and family-friendly activities. A highlight of the week was a conversation with Wayne Bergmann, a highly-respected Indigenous leader from the Kimberley. Hosted and facilitated by Michelle Grady (Vice President – Corporate Affairs), Wayne shared his deep insights and reflections and how culture can inform and enrich modern leadership practices. We shared the views and perspectives of Woodside's First Nations employees, highlighting their contributions and stories. We also launched our 2023 Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Report. Thank you to everyone who organised and participated and made this week memorable. Let's keep the fire burning! #NAIDOC2024 #KeepTheFireBurning #BlakLoudProud #WoodsideCelebrates #IndigenousVoices

Woodside's 2023 Reconciliation Action Plan Report We are proud to share the progress made in our 2023 Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Report. This year, we've seen advancements across our four key pillars: Respect for Culture and Heritage, Capability and Capacity, Economic Participation, and Stronger Communities. Highlights: Respect for Culture and Heritage: Continued support for ranger programs and cultural heritage initiatives, including the Desert to the Sea Program and the Murujuga Ranger Program, strengthening our respect for Indigenous culture and heritage. Capability and Capacity: Enhanced cultural competency by achieving a 91.3% completion rate for mandatory cultural learning activities, reflecting our commitment to cultural learning and shared understanding. Economic Participation: Increased Indigenous workforce representation and awarded significant contracts to Indigenous businesses, enhancing economic growth and inclusion. Stronger Communities: Continued support for community-led initiatives, including the nomination of Murujuga for World Heritage Listing and the establishment of our First Nations Advisory Group. We recognise that while we have a long way to go, looking back since our journey began with our first RAP in 2009, we have made significant progress. Woodside remains dedicated to creating positive outcomes for First Nations communities through meaningful engagement and partnerships. Thank you to all employees and partners who contribute to our ongoing Reconciliation journey.
