Easy install in a 2019 Nissan Murano and 2023 Genesis GV70; worked as expected (fast automatic wireless CarPlay startup when car starts). We are IOS iPhone users.Fits perfectly in the GV70 USB data port, but needed a right-turn USB extension cable for the Murano, to hide the AnyFar USB stick under the right side passenger feet console area...rather than have it stick out from the dash near the gear shift.NOTE: When I upgraded the AnyFar firmware on the Murano from the factory V3.9.4_0625 to the latest V4.05 or V4.06, it would NOT auto-start when starting the car; I had to pull the USB cable out and in to get the CarPlay to start. I did lots of trouble shooting and could not get the auto-start to work. Finally, I tried installing the older V3.9.4 firmware and it works great again. I would recommend NOT upgrading your firmware if it's working for you as-is from the factory.NOTE (confirmed with customer support): The AnyFar only remembers the last paired Bluetooth user, so if you have 2 or more people sharing the car, they will often have to reconnect to the AnyFar Bluetooth device if they were not the most recent connection. Not a huge bother, but something to consider.

I am using this for my Alfa Romeo Stelvio as it only has wired plug in option for car play. This product is very versatile as you can plug in directly into USB port or use the included cables to plug into either USB-C or another USB-A port without needing to plug in directly. So many options to plug it in. And now for the functionality. Very easy to set up and it works flawlessly once my phone is connected. It does exactly as intended. Lets you use Apple CarPlay wireless without needing to plug in your phone through USB cable. There is no noticeable lag for me when I use any of the features of the CarPlay. Moreover, my car has a wireless charging pad so I can put my phone on wireless charging and have it connected wirelessly through this device for CarPlay. So it has turned out to be amazing for my use. I love this and highly recommend it. It’s probably the most lightweight, versatile and functional option for wireless Apple CarPlay.

I had no idea i needed this before i bought this. I had couple of similar products to connect my phone to my car. But it took almost 1-2 minutes to connect to the car and it did not work 40% of the time due to which i had to disconnect and reconnect it.

Easy install, automatically connects quickly to iPhone 13 in a 2021 Mazda CX-30.
The only minor problem is when two people who have each previously connected to the device are both in the vehicle at the same time when the device tries to pair at start-up. The device will not automatically connect to one user - manual pairing is required and sometimes takes a few attempts. Otherwise, very happy with the performance of this product.

Was pleasantly surprised at how small this adapter is. Easy to tuck away out of view and much more convenient than fiddling with the lightning cable.

Before installing, I paired it to check for a firmware update (it had the newest firmware already installed).

After that, installation could not have been more simple. Plugged into the primary USB on the Pioneer aftermarket head unit and the device was immediately recognized. I was prompted on screen to connect to the adapter Bluetooth and once I did, CarPlay started up right away. Have been using it for a few days now, and it connects quickly once the car is started up, and have had zero issues with connection stability.

Long review alert: I usually do not do product reviews unless the buying/product experience is compelling enough and my experience with anyfar was one such. A little background, when I purchased my car in 2023, my heart sank when the dealership mentioned that there was no inbuilt car play connect (believe there are car models like this) and I had to use a cable for the same. Ever since I have been on a hunt for decent car play adapter to get rid of my cables. I came across anyfar and the reviews were good, infact it had more reviews than other products so I went with this. Last week I received my original order and when I tried to connect it in my car it did not work ... :( I was extremely disappointed; tried to update the beta version but the device never showed up on my phone bluetooth/wifi. After several attempts I replied to the email (anyfar had sent me when I ordered the products regarding steps for connections etc.) Believe me at this stage I was not even expecting a reply back from the team and decided to return the product the next day.
Surprisingly anyfar team replied to me in a couple of hours and confirmed a few details about my car model, exact issue etc, I still was not convinced that everything would be resolved, but gave them the details anyways.
Boom, their next reply was that - they understood based on my explanation that I received a defective product and they would send me a replacement. this was on the 26th Apr and on 28th Apr I found a package on my porch. An advanced A4 pro adapter :) This time I just plugged the device in, connected on bluetooth and viola - my carplay was working .... THANK YOU ANYFAR team, this is a little but mighty device ... kudos and great customer service :)

99% of the time it connects my Bluetooth. But 90% of the time I still have to press the “phone link” button on my stereo screen. Now it’s connecting because I hear the tone that indicates it’s connecting but then my screen goes black. Works great when it works but it’s not consistent and is very frustrating. No rhythm or reason for when it does or doesn’t work.

The first time I purchased a wireless adapter I knew nothing about them. There was noticeable lag. It sometimes didn’t start up and I’d have to unplug it to restart it. I didn’t like it and the money I paid for it and returned it.

Then a company car had wireless CarPlay and I learned that lag was normal. Sometimes it didn’t start up either, but not often, and I’d have to wait until I could restart the car to make it work.

When I purchased this one I knew what to expect: some lag and occasional problems. I put it in my ‘24 Forte, using a piece of Velcro to secure it to the underside of the compartment.

I have not had a problem with this unit and I’ve been using it for nearly a month. The technology is much improved in the past few years. First of all, the hardware is smaller. There is a lag, though it is much faster than I’ve had before. Said lag is very minimal, and I usually don’t notice it. The unit is responsive and starts every time. It has never crashed. I’m very happy with it.

For the size, speed, and reliability, I recommend this product wholeheartedly.

It is small light and compact and just sticks in like a usb on the port and blends right it. Set up was really easy as well, just connected bluetooth and wifi and all set and I have never had to re-pair the devices or had to disconnect. I just leave plug it 24/7 and works perfect every time.
The video shows how fast it connects the first time I turn the car on during the day. It is loaded and ready to use before I even leave my house. Throughout the day connection is way quicker and efficient, taking less time. Still I don't mind the startup in the morning since it connect automatically within 30 seconds without having to do anything on my phone or car.
Sound quality is amazing, it plays and sounds just like wired would and radio, you don't lose quality. There is a bit of a lag between switching songs but only about 1 second or so which I don't mind since it works well with the carwheel controls and I know the song will change it only changes the title first and takes a second for sound to catch up. Still it is one of the fastest I've seen on the market.
The screen has no lag at all as you can see when I open the Spotify app and change the songs on the screen.
All and all I've had this product for 3 months and it has worked excellent for all that time, never had an issue where it unpaired or wouldn't turn on or connect since I plugged it in the first time. I rate 10/10, would definitely purchase again and have recommended to so many people with factory installed wired CarPlay.

When it works, it does so beautifully. However, when it doesn't want to connect, forget it. You have to turn your phone off and then allow it to reset itself to the CarPlay. Very disappointing. Subsequently, the company was kind enough to respond and they then sent me their "Pro version." Same exact result. I don't recommend it and the worse part is... I can't return it to get my money back. Incidentally, my car is a 2018 Porsche 911 Carrera with CarPlay. No excuse for this device to be so inconsistent and exceedingly frustrating!!!

I can still connect to the device, it’s setting, ect but will not show up on the connected USB devices screen or let any of my music apps recognize the device as a playback option. I’ve tried forgetting/disconnecting the wifi/bluetooth resetting the settings. Then reconnecting. I followed the instructions and used a wall power source when originally connecting and updating the firmware. Using in a 2021 Ram 1500 Limited with the 12” unconnect screen.

My Anyfar dongle was replaced with a new one but their customer service representative Jane. She was awesome to work with, had a new one headed my way with in a few days. I was really impressed with how attentive they are and understanding. Super customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again. So far the new unit works great. It seems to connect even fast that the previous one I had. I’ve had both of them set to the fastest setting for connection BTW. The new one came from the factory with the newest firmware unlike the previous one. I still followed procedure and connected it to my wall outlet, preceded through the setup, then update if available. Thank you again Jane.

The set up is very easy and it connects quickly and automatically when I get into my truck. So far the functionality is as promised except for the voice turn by turn navigation(using google maps or apple maps) does not work. There is a terrible delay witht with the voice prompts and it only actually reads out about the last 25% of the promt. The maps on the screen are fine so that is a plus but I really like the voice directions and with this device they are pointless. I made sure the device was updated and still does not work. Very disapponited because the rest works as promised. Not sure if I would recommend because of this flaw and I can't figure out how to reach the sellar.

Update. After working with the seller and receiving a 2nd device we were still unable to get the device to work correctly in my 2016 Silverado. They promptly refunded my money and let me keep both devices to try to update in the future. Even though the product didn’t work how I want it too the service was spot on and Anyfar was great to work with.
