Make sure you not which screw came from where, video on their website doesn’t mention. I messed up one couple and broke the pin which pushed the screen out. Had to diassemble, cut with razor the pushed out plastic and reassemble.
I think it turned out great. The case looks and feels quality but I will be curious how it holds up long term. 1 review showed that the finish started to peel after 4 months or so. Hopefully mine doesn't do that. I used the included screw driver set and it worked well. You will need tweezers for the ribbon cables, thermal paste, and a heat gun or blow dryer to remove the screen. It took me over 5 hours but after I put it together and turned it on the touch on the screen didn't work, everything worked but touch, weird. So I took it back apart so I could get at the digitizer screen ribbon cable, cleaned the leads with alcohol and reinstalled and it worked. Thank God. Anyway I used the ExtremeRate install video and sorted the screws into ice cube trays. Be very patient with the screen and the heat gun, it took me about 30 minutes to get the screen off the original case, do not rush it or it will break!
Not a project for those easily intimidated. You'll need a heat gun or a hair dryer and some patience.
The walk through video has no audio steps but a very good visual walk through of what to do.
Fantastic product, the fit and finish is in my opinion amazing. I could not be happier with the end result.
I got it all put together and as luck would have it a cat hair got stuck under the screen protector when I went to apply it.
I emailed rhe company wanting to see about ordering another and fully prepared to pay for it. They just confirmed my order number and sent one out to me.
Polite professional, friendly, quick service.
Would absolutely use this companies products again. I'm beyond satisfied with their product snd customer service.

4.0 out of 5 starsReally Cool mod for your Switch Lite, but not for the faint of heart.

I don't have much to add to other reviews. Just wanted to point out. - Unlike other extremeRate products, like the joycon shells, it turned out my SNES shell is not made of SNES-color plastic. It's instead a white shell painted on the outside. This is not a big deal, however, I will keep paying attention for discoloration in the future and bring the score down if it's a problem.
- Installation video was great as usual. However, I really wish it made a bigger deal about the screen installation. It does explain that you have to use a heat gun or hair drier to remove the screen from the original shell, but it should really warn you of the time sensitive nature of the next step, in which you have to stick the screen to the new shell, but you need to do it while keeping the glue warm and it's not actually a trivial task to pick how to place the screen, it needs a specific direction and way to inset it to ensure that all the flex cables are in the correct position and with enough length.
Need-less to say, I had a failure in this step and thus my screen no longer has touch capabilities, since the cable that transports the touch controls had a tear. This is absolutely not the kit's fault, but you should keep in mind that this installation is more difficult than other extremeRate installations , like the joycon shells or the airydocky dock mod.

Saw this case and thought it would be a cool mod for my system. I should've done my research, because you pretty much have to take apart the console all the way and rebuild it in the new case. I've done work on small electronics before with no issue, but these switch components will break if you breathe in them to hard. Ended having to replace the screen, power button, and game card slot. I can't see any visible damage to the ribbon cables but they would not work. So an extra hundred dollars later, I'm still left with a switch that won't read game cards. Got a new switch lite and now I know to never attempt this again
4.0 out of 5 starsLooks great, feels great, 1 minor flaw

Material feels good, almost a rubbery texture. Not as slippery as original switch lite shell. Design looks amazing. Only flaw is that due to the size not being 100% exact, I had to use mismatched bumpers (a mix of the original buttons and the buttons that came with it) in order to get both L and R to properly click. I went with mismatched triggers as well just to make it seem intentional. Overall, would recommend. Be prepared to spend about 4 hours installing it and go slow
