I bought these cameras due to someone stealing one of our Amazon packages and the property management not having any thing they could do regarding it with no cameras on the premises. These cameras provide excellent quality picture and are very easy to install and pair to the home base. The selling feature for me is that the home base stores the video footage, and you do not require to have a subscription like, for example the Arlo's. I had them installed within about 15 minutes including pairing and updating. The only downside for some is that you will have to charge the cameras every once in a while. However, that is not a problem in my case. Also, please note that these cameras can operate from the home base wirelessly and the home base does not have to be hardwired as some of the reviews suggests. I also live in a stacked townhouse on the third floor and these reach all the way down to my garage.

I recently purchased this Eufy camera system and overall I am quite satisfied with it. The system is easy to set up and the video quality is great. I particularly appreciate the motion detection feature which alerts me to any activity in the areas I have selected to monitor.

However, I must mention that the battery life of the cameras has been somewhat disappointing. While the manufacturer promised a certain length of time for each charge, I have found that the batteries drain more quickly than expected, especially if the cameras are not in constant use.

Additionally, while the system is good, it falls short of being excellent. There are a few minor issues that could be improved, such as the sensitivity of the motion detection.

Overall, I would still recommend the Eufy camera system as it provides solid performance and good value for the price. However, if you are looking for a top-of-the-line camera system with long-lasting batteries, this may not be the best choice for you.

I usually don't write reviews, but I feel I need to warn agains buying these cameras. Compared to my Ring doorbell camera, EufyCam 2c and 3c are much worse.

Panning through the video recordings are choppy in comparison and that is when you get a recording. Often there are key incidents that were missed somehow. The Ring doorbell camera is great and catches everything.

I haven't tried Ring's standalone cameras, but I think it's worth it to swap out the Eufys that don't record when you need them. I would say they are not bad if just used for live viewing, but even that doesn't work some times.

This camera has served its purpose. It deters, and captures clips of any motion detection. It deters with the spotlight. Motion detection in "Human Only" does not detect at 100%, but is close. It will miss once out of 10 times. The "All Motions" option detects too much. It will detect car lights at night although they are not pointing directly at the camera. It is very conveniant to have it be battery operated, however I wish it lasted longer on a single charge. I have to recharge mine once every 3 weeks (with Spotlight on, and Optimal Surveillance). For anyone interested in the solar panel, the solar panel on one of my cameras will extend the battery life by 3-4 months, but eventually, you will need to charge it manually. Overall, this is a great option, considering all the subscription based cameras available on the market

I really wanted to like the product. I can live with the video quality, it seems Eufy compresses video so it's not amazing, but workable. The audio/mic overall is not impressive, but that's not the reason I bought it for. Installation and instructions were easy to follow.

My goal was to have a cam pick up motion and record the action. This Eufy 2c Pro hardly picked up motion, human or not. There were times cats or people walking by got picked up. It was a great feeling to see and get a notification when the delivery/mailman dropped off items, but for the most part it was rare when it actually worked.

I'd say it detected motion 2/9 times. What's even worse, I've tested both cameras at different hours of the day and at times No push notifications No video recordings. For an item like this and the price, not worth it. Basically it works less than half of the time, so if something happens or there's activity to capture, it probably isn't going to work.

I have done all troubleshooting and followed all instructions in the forums. I have restarted the system, fully charged, set motion to MAX sensitivity, erased and formatted the device a few times. While this seemed to help, the issue eventually comes back within hours and you end up with cameras that don't react, not even when you stand in front of it and wave right back.

I have experience with a different brand of camera that cost me 1/10th the price(not an exaggeration) and it works flawlessly. Of course, that cam is used for different purposes and I was enticed by the no cloud/no monthly fees with this Eufy one. I am tech savvy and while I had no issues with the set up, ultimately it's the product that fails.

I'd give this a 1 out of 5 stars, but I want to make sure people know what they're getting with this product. A camera that doesn't deliver and far from a quality product. Buyer beware.

I researched several security cameras and doorbells and went with Eufy because they do not require you to purchase a monthly subscription. The 2C Pro camera system is super easy to install. The picture/video quality, night vision, and view angle are incredible. One of the great upgrades to the 2C Pro is it now has the same Sony sensor as the 2 Pro which gives you superior night vision and you still have the LED spotlight. The LED spotlight works well if the camera is installed by other lights. If the camera is not by other lights I have found the video with just the night vision is superior to the color night vision with the LED light on. I connected this system to the Eufy wireless doorbell and it works great together. The app and installation are super easy to follow and the number of customization options for scheduling and options within the app are incredible. It is super easy to change settings, notifications, schedules, etc. The link between the cameras and doorbell works very well for security, you can set it up so if once is activated they will all start recording. Make sure you update the firmware on the Cameras within the app when you go to install. I have only had the 2C Pro cameras for 2 weeks and it has blown away my expectations. Eufy is working on memory expansion for the base and that would be my only criticism as 16gb is not enough internal storage. I did purchase the black silicone covers for the camera system to provide extra outdoor durability and I would highly recommend them. Overall this is a top-notch system.

Update: 6 month update

This security system does not disappoint. I have owned the system 6 months and I just had to take down the cameras and recharge them for the first time. The cameras worked with no issues during the winter in temps below zero.

1 Year Update:

This system continues to amaze me. No issues with automatic software/firmware updates and they have only made the product better. The battery is as advertised. Not have monthly fees is the cherry on top. It has worked flawlessly and the durability and performance have been superb.
