My 10 year old granddaughter loves this top. It’s comfortable and the 9-10Y size is a nice fit for her. She’s average in size.The top actually reaches her waist with the cute little knotted area raised up a bit in the front. The arm holes are also a good fit giving her privacy.The material is very soft with a pretty pin stripe texture to it. It washed up very nice with no shrinkage.

I got this shirt for my daughter to wear during the summer to dance, aerial, and tumbling classes and camps. I wanted to get her a more form fitting top that would allow her to move around easily and not have to worry about shirt material getting caught in the aerial ropes or expose her top as she does cartwheels or tumbles. This shirt is a lightweight, thin material so it will also keep her cool. While the "knot" is an interesting and cool design piece, it makes the front middle bottom of the shirt ride a bit higher than the rest of the shirt and stick out a bit which seems to bother her a bit as I find her often fiddling with it.

I grabbed this for my 8 year old daughter in pink- she loves pink. It's a really pretty pink- not quite ballet pink, but a very nice pastel pink. The twist knot at the front brings the bottom up just slightly- just enough to call it a crop top, but not enough to be overly short. The rib-knit isn't what I'd consider traditional rib-knit- to me that's the type of ribbing that stretches out because of the ribbing and doesn't really snap back too well. This is something much better- the ribbing is raised, and the fabric stretches, but it doesn't lose its shape- it snaps back just fine. The texture is also really cool- very smooth and well constructed for ribbed fabric. It's a nice light fabric, perfect for warmer months.

I got her the 9-10 to give her some room to grow, and it fits her really well. Usually I end up feeling like I should have ordered another size up, but this is a true 9-10 in my opinion.

I can see that attention was paid to where the stitching was positioned in relation to the fabric- it's very obviously a deliberate effort, and I really appreciate that kind of thought. The hems have just the slightest whisper of a scallop shape to them- barely- but it's really easy to see that the stitching was placed where it was on purpose so that the fabric would lay this way.

The fabric, as I mentioned, is super nice. It's very soft- my children are on the spectrum so texture really matters. My daughter has no issues whatsoever with how this shirt feels and actually really loves it, so it's a win.

Also, she promptly spilled chocolate milk on it- so I can report that it didn't stain. It washed really nicely, didn't shrink a ton (if at all- it really looks like it didn't shrink at all), and the texture of the fabric nor the stitching were disrupted by the wash like you see with some children's clothes.

VERY happy with this top- I'll be getting another few!
