Had to buy these because I installed a new video card and 3 of the ports are display ports and of course my monitors aren't. They have a good clip in feature that holds them in place once you plug them in. I thought that was an excellent feature. My computer is on a 4" floor stand and it gets moved around once in a while so to me that was a good feature. It's one of those features that you can't appreciate because you use it and you don't know it. The cable is quite robust so there will never be a worry that it will fall apart or wear out.

BUY AN ADAPTER WITH A CABLE LIKE THIS ONE! THE OTHER HARD PLASTIC CONNECTORS CAN DAMAGE YOUR STUFF IF IT IS BUMPED BECAUSE IT IS INFLEXIBLE!! This product is very good (especially for the price) and it is worth the few extra euros if it means it wont break my stuff like the ones without cables.

Used a smaller adapter before, one that didnt have a cable but was just a little plastic thing that you plug the hdmi into and gives you a display port on the other end. However this made it VERY prone to breaking and it was bumped accidentally and it almost broke the DP slot on my GPU. Luckily it was the adapter that broke and not the slot but LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE! GET A CABLE ADAPTER LIKE THIS INSTEAD!
