To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Just want to warn people that Amazon shipped this in a box with no padding, no air bags or crumpled paper. Phone was loosely banging around in the box it shipped in. I've had 10 dollar items packaged better than this $700 phone.
So far, the phone has been performing very well. I had few questions during setup, and contacting Google (via chat) was easy and helpful. Very happy with it.
Kid been wanting to replace his Samsung for a while, and I had been planning to get a new phone as his graduation gift. We waited until the 8a was released. It felt good in the hand. Not too large or small. It's fast, has great cameras, nice screen, and good battery. So far he been loving it. He also didn't experienced any reception issues like his Samsung phone.
Bought this to replace an older Pixel. I don’t know what the pixel 8 has that this pixel 8a doesn’t because this is a great phone. So far I’m very happy with it. Set up was easy. Display is great. Battery is excellent. Finger print sensor is excellent. Screen is a little sensitive, this can probably be adjusted. I’m very happy with this phone
Upgraded from a Pixel 6 for the additional updates and features. I really am impressed in the overall difference that upgrading provided. Don't get me wrong the Pixel 6 is a fine phone but the Pixel 8a just provides a much better user experience. Transferring from the old to the new phone was really simple with only having to re-enter passwords for some applications.
