I was a tiny bit skeptical at first when it cameto ordering this, but for $20 you’re getting a great controller.I would say the controller feels lighter than an actual xbox 360 controller but the build quality and ease of use is the same. It feels sturdy and firm.The joy sticks and buttons are comfortable, you cant go wrong with it.Honestly the only difference is it doesnt have the X on the silver button in the middle but that’s purely cosmetic.I’m personally using it on my PC, would highly recommend

Feels like an Xbox controller and works exactly like one too. I've bought several of these in the past for game nights and while we have had a few of them start drifting or not working after some time, I'm not mad because of the lower price point and for our needs, they've worked great. We also used some of them longer or more roughly so I don't even blame the manufacturers. I'll repurchase when we need more !

FAIR WARNING IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO USE THIS WITH A COUCH-AND-TV XBOX 360 SETUP the cord on this thing is very short. Unless you're sitting right in front of your tv or pulling your console out into the middle of the floor or on a coffee table, odds are, the cord isn't going to be long enough for you to play a comfortable distance from the screen.

If you're looking for a cheapo controller for your PC, however, this one does the trick. While it's clear when you hold it that the material is a bit cheaper than a first-party XB360 controller, and the face-buttons are a little more "clicky" than the original, the design matches the first-party controller 1-to-1, and fits as nicely in the hands at you would expect. The triggers, buttons, and sticks are all as responsive as you need them to be out-of-the-box.

I've used three of these controllers over the past few years and they definitely suffer from wear-and-tear faster than the originals (and it's game over if you accidentally spill a drink on the controller, or play a game with something sticky on your hands because those face buttons will NEVER come unstuck again, an issue I've had with 1st party controllers, but nowhere near as bad as with this one), but the cost of those three controllers was the same as what I would have paid for an OG controller, and for my purposes (playing games at my PC), I actually really appreciated the shorter cord.

These are definitely a solid option if you have kids, too, as you don't have to worry about reinvesting a lot of money in a newer, nicer controller if they break it or spill on it, and if you have a nice first-party controller of your own, you can stow it away and pull out these cheap controllers for kids' playtime.

I bought this exact controller about half a decade ago, it withstood many falls but eventually it did give out. Bought another one and felt compelled to review this highly. For the negligible price, it works perfectly on PC and Xbox Series X and has already withstood many falls.

I will never buy another Microsoft controller for double the price so long as these are still available.

Plus, wired is superior to wireless for controllers.

I am an older adult, not a heavy gamer, and I know how to take care of my electronics, not abuse them. I bought this controller to use with my PC for very occasional gaming (nothing intense like shooter games, just slow paced sandbox games). In total, over a one year period, I probably used the controller, gently, for maybe 20 times at most. It started sporadically losing connection the last couple times I used it, and would regain connectivity if I unplugged and plugged it in again. But after tonight it simply failed to work at all, causing an error message basically saying that 'Windows does not recognize device'. Well, it did many time before now! Of course I tried all the usual fixes, i.e. trying different USB ports, making sure there were no breaks or stress points on the cord especially on either end, and rebooting computer, etc. Nothing worked. So I am left with a useless brick. And I would definitely not buy this item again from this seller, and would not recommend that anyone else do either. I have owned Xbox brand controllers before and they lasted years. So, I would suggest paying the extra few dollars to buy a Microsoft Xbox branded controller, it clearly makes all the difference.

UPDATE, SEPT. 5, 2021:
So, I contacted the seller with my complaint, asking for either a refund or at least a replacement unit. They responded quickly and positively and apologized for the unit not working. And even though it was far outside of the return or exchange period, and did not have a long warranty, the seller offered to send me a replacement unit free of charge, and did not require that I return the defective unit to them. They said it might take a while as it would not be shipped using fastest method, however, in the end I still received the unit within one week. So, thumbs up to customer service for being receptive and responsive, and resolving the issue in a short period of time. I don't know how long this new controller will last but only time will tell. (I still did buy a MS controller in the meantime, but at the very least I now have a backup). And at least I no longer feel that I had been ripped off, and I would not hesitate to deal with this particular seller again. Thanks for making this right. As such, I have bumped up my original rating from one star to four stars.

for the price, this is a great purchase. for any casual gaming or lending it to player two, this is perfect in all aspect.
However, this item is very short lived. I used to be able to play with it for 6 to 12 months almost nonstop but the last two purchase lasted me for less than 6 months each. The button start losing their responsiveness after about twenty to thirty hours. Playing exclusively RPG makes the A button stick constantly after a few weeks. Triggers also start to be unresponsive around the same time, surprisingly because it stick to the SIDE and not while pressed.
The sticks aren't completely 360 but they simulate it great.

For the price, it's absolutely worth it. Just don't expect it to last longer than a few months if this is your main controller.
