Update: Despite my issues below; I have to admit they feel comfortable and secure. But I won't risk trying to remove them.
-------------------------------------
So disappointed. The instructions in the written description say to press them down straight on. But the pictures show putting it half on and then twisting it the rest of the way. The video they have has a convenient cutscene in between when the guy is putting it on straight on and later on when he already has it on his and is for some reason twisting it at that point. So even the video is misleading. I don't think even the manufacturers know whether to put it on with a twist on an angle or straight on. Because either way these things grab on so tight onto your joystick that it squishes and crushes the pad underneath. The act of twisting something on so tight doesn't seem so great for the joystick either. I looked at some disassembly videos and there isn't a lot of plastic resisting twisting in the stem. So I think this could potentially damage it if you do this more than once. To compare, I installed a set of thumb sticks from their more popular competitor. And those were able to go on and stay secure while still being removed without any crushing happening on my default thumbpad. I also tried another set of thumb sticks from Playvital, and those were cheaper and easier to install/remove without damage.
