Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

There was an issue with the bootloader being unlocked when the phone arrived so I had to go through Google customer service for help and they said the phone was not to be used, as the security had been compromised. Google kindly dealt with the issue but it delayed being able to use the phone which was very unsatisfactory.
I have come from a galaxy s22 ultra, so on paper, I should feel like I've lost out somewhere with the pixel 8, especially in the camera department but all is good. The phone doesn't seem to perform any differently (at least not to me) The screen is lovely and bright and works well for streaming. Size is good for my child size hands and the clean android is actually quite refreshing for a change. Camera is better than I was expecting given the specs, especially at this price point. I'm not a gamer, so cannot comment. This phone is great for its software, screen and camera and I would absolutely recommend it.
