Battery life sucks, screen scratches easily.
I'm quite heavily invested in the Google ecosystem, Google One subscriber, multiple Pixel phones in my history, so gave this a chance.I have been SO careful with it but after 5 days I already have a noticeable scratch in the screen... Admittedly, only really noticeable to me.The battery life is terrible, if you're looking for a fitness tracker look at Garmin or one of the more well respected Fitbits. I track around an hour of cycling per day and it barely makes it through the day with minimal use.It does admittedly charge pretty fast though, so that's one positive 👍🏻The included large band fits well, but does feel very clunky.I'm honestly considering returning it. Maybe it'll be better in a few years and get once battery life improves!

Very nice product, arrived quickly. Was in the look for a watch, but few offered the functionality of the Pixel Watch 2. The size is also good and looks great. Imo looks better than Apple Watch and also has support for Estonian language.

I managed to connect the PW2 to my Pixel 7 but after a few days things started going very weird. So much so that the phone kept resetting itself and requesting to be set up again? So I lost 3 days worth of stats on the Fitbit app. The Google Fit app is not as polished.
Overall this is a good watch (when it worked) even on brightest setting I would get 1.5 days. But why it keeps resetting is beyond me and that is as someone who has the full Android ecosystem. I've reconnected my 2 year old Fitbit Sense and no issues whatsoever. Google what are you doing? This is going back.

If you don't have an iphone and you are looking for accuracy, as far as I am concerned the only two options are huawei (app can't be downloaded from the playstore, can it be trusted?) and google.
That's the main reason I bought it.
I didn't like how you need to separately use two apps (the fitbit and the google watch) to access whatever feature/information you need and found the registering/configuration a real hassle.
Some features will not work straight out of the box because of badly configured permissions.
The battery is unfortunately a joke, it will barely lasts you a day unless you literally receive 0 notifications/don't track any activities. The GPS is the main culprit, but the software is also to blame since it will randomly start consuming more battery than normal for no apparent reason (bug?) and will require sometimes to be restarted.
I recommend you download a battery monitoring app if you decide to go ahead with the purchase.
Performance wise I found it to be relatively snappy and liked the screen, although the refresh rate is nothing to write home about.
Where the watch shines (aside from aestethics which are subjective) is the accuracy of their sensors. I have researched this a lot and most youtubers/reviewers seemed to confirm my own impressions about this.
It's not on par with the iwatch, but it gets close and it's way more reliable (for heart tracking) than the garmin and the sleep tracking is also way more accurate (than the garmin). Again not at the level of an iwatch, but as I mentioned before, when it comes to android compatible watches, this is probably the most accurate so far and it's great to be able to install any apps from the app store from it.
It is also quite handy that it can use any wifi for those times you at home but far away from your watch and can still receive notifications or for emergencies when you may have forgotten your phone and you can still connect to a wifi (my old garmin couldn't do this).
Can't comment on the LTE version as I bought the wifi, but the security features it packs were tempting.
All in all, it really depends on what you care the most about your watch and how active you are because the battery will not be able to keep up with you if you are planning on doing for long runs/cycle sessions with the GPS activated.
If you are that much into sports though you will probably own a chest strap, in which case I would consider Garmin instead for all the features/metrics they have.

Bought this as a replacement for my Fitbit charge 5. I needed something a bit more stylish while still being able to continue to monitor my data on the Fitbit app. The GPW-2 ticked all the boxes and more. If there is anything to fix, it’ll be the battery life as I am having to mandatorily charge the watch daily.

I did not like the fact that the GPS quite often dropped out during a walk and I kept having to to restart the watch. Also the battery would discharge by 50 % in about half an hour intermittently. Sent it back.

It's a real pain to set this up. It takes ages and need to Google troubleshooting.
Battery life is poor when tracking workouts.
Everytime I was taking a shower, it'd open Google maps!
Also the Fitbit app is not good, even with premium.
I returned it after two weeks.

Pixel Watch → Pixel Watch2
Pixel Watch
Fitbit
< Pixel Watch2
Fitbit
Pixel Watch
Pixel Watch2
Fitbit
Pixel Watch
