Was very happy at thought of this product, only also disappointed that it was blocked as it came out of the bag,The idea that you can get paid for od jobs straight into your bank account made me happy to think.Only disappointed that it never worked for me,hope it works for others I may try again in the future 🙏🏽

Works flawlessly. Everything we needed and more. Lots of useful functions. Only negatives are the button on the side which turns it on and off and/or cancels.transactions. When busy it is very easy to accidentally press the button when removing from charging station leading to a cancelled transaction. Bit annoying but not the end of the world. Also supplied charging dock seems bit flimsy and I doubt it will last very long. 5 star review bases on functionality, ease of use and reliability. Overall its a great tool for small businesses.

Easy to set up, you are done in seconds. I did have some issues when sending a payment link, I had to reissue a new link in order for the customer to pay. However, this was not a major problem, just a small technicality that you may come across yourself and worth nothing.

I used this and will use this for whenever I sell at conventions. Setting it up and figuring out what you would consider your business to be can be difficult if you are an artist using the options they provide. However completing the sales and getting the money is fast and efficient. There can be issues with connectivity though and sometimes if you haven't touched the app when it's on, the card reader will turn off for battery saving reasons. This can be helpful but it can also be a little annoying.

Setup in mins, load of tosh. You’re forced either to sign-up to “their” business account, check the reviews on that and you’ll see a ton of folks having money spontaneously withheld without reason or you have to sign-up to another, yes they are free but they force a seperation between your personal account and the business. You may not want that and that is within your rights as a sole trader who sells small items making less than a few hundred a year just for fun. This is not as it seems. Found best solution to this is to use your existint bank tools and generate a QR code for a buyer on the spot, pays straight in without Sumup holding “your” money milking interest off of it and it goes into your personal account, there you go, just provided a “free” solution for those looking for the same but wish to avoid the murky sales pitch from SumUp. If you have a business then fine but your money may still not be safe, be warned.
