On the face of it it’s just like a sheet of thick plastic that makes writing on the screen better and protects it as well. Just plonk it on the front like you’re sticking a magnet to the fridge. But it’s actually better than I expected. The magnetic like sticky strips top and bottom make it easy to put on and take off. No bubbles and doesn’t reduce the image any more than permanent ones I’ve used. It doesn’t slip around and feels really secure. Comes with a nice pouch to keep it in when you want to take it off. Top tip, if you put it the wrong way up it covers the camera on the top of the new iPad Pro M4 for people who like privacy and safety. Take it off and turn it round when you need it.

I don’t do many reviews on here, but, wow! This product from ESR is outstanding. I used it on top of my existing ESR screen protector on top of my iPad 10th Generation. I had always wanted to use my iPad for handwritten notes, but my handwriting always seemed so bad on the glass screen. This item, for me, is just like using a paper notepad. Love the storage folder it comes with too. Definitely 10 out of 10!

But in 4 months that magnets on the sides are not as strong as they used to be (the screen gets dettached by itself regularly), and the surface lost it's smooth roughness, becoming patchy. I use my table regularly but not more than 1 hour a day, so I would expect the product to last longer.

I am constantly writing, and for the first time, I've decided to try a different company that offers a better iPad writing experience. I have a few thoughts about ESR's Paper-feel magnet screen protector. The included folder is a great touch, both handy and premium-feeling. The screen protector's dimensions are perfect, fitting my iPad even with a case. Additionally, the anti-glare feature is excellent and works wonderfully. My favorite aspect of this screen protector is the ability to write on my tablet like it's paper while still being able to remove it and enjoy the iPad's original screen.

However, I have encountered two issues. First, the magnets could be stronger, as the sides of the screen protector frequently detach, which is frustrating when I'm deep into writing. Second, the roughness level could be improved. In my experience, the Apple Pencil drags more on this protector compared to a pencil on paper. If these two problems were addressed, this screen protector would be the best option for those who write or draw extensively but still want to enjoy the iPad's screen.

EDIT: ESR reached out to me and replaced my item. I am adding two more stars because one issue is solved, and their customer support is excellent. It's clear they care about their product. The magnets now stick better, and I no longer have the detachment problem, which has significantly improved my experience with the writing protector. However, I still find the roughness level to be on the rougher side. If I remember, I'll provide a one-year update with my Apple Pencil tips and the feel of the screen protector. I might be nitpicking, but this is truly a great product for writers and drawers who also want to enjoy their viewing experience.

Eu comprei o iPad usado e já veio com a Paperlike, que eu detestei e tirei logo nos primeiros dias. Já essa película é ótima! Não atrapalha a visualização de vídeos (comparando com outras do mesmo tipo), é menos áspera, então supre o efeito de “papel” sem o barulho irritante característico e, por ser magnética e não depender de adesivo, tem risco zero de dar bolhas ou grudar em cima de sujeiras que sempre aparecem no último segundo da aplicação da película (quem tem gatos sabe como é).
Vou deixar direto no iPad, mas achei legal que no pacote vem uma capa transparente pra guardar.
