A well featured non smart Flip phone, with good keypad, and other nice features
Set up was fairly easy once I'd worked out it needed a micro sim, not a NANO sim card to work! Managed to put the Nano sim back into it's housing to make it right size. In the settings you can adjust how to answer ie simply by opening flip phone, or requiring to press the ANSWER key, after you've seen who's calling. When texting, by default it uses the annoying "predictive text" input; to turn off, when writing a text, simply press the # key, and scroll down the options.A useful feature, not in manual is ability to nominate the "2 to 9" keys to a specific contact. ["1" automatically is dedicated to voicemail.] To allocate say number "6" to a contact press that key and a prompt screen pops up; it says no number is allocated; just select the contact book icon that appears, and then scroll down contacts and select one of your choice. When you need to call that number, you just need press number 6; no need to scroll through contact list in phone.

Purchased for relative who loves Doro phones. Very deaf but can hear this one, easy to use and sturdy construction.

Difficult to learn to use for the elderly who have little experience with modern technology so help from a competent and patient teacher goes a long way. I bought this as an emergency mobile for a parent - UK people be warned, DigitalVoice is coming. Soon, all landlines will be through a broadband router so if your internet goes down then your home phone goes down and if your parent relies on their home phone to keep in touch with family, then they could be left in distress. Hence, this emergency mobile. Not much to choose from but so far so good for this model.

Bought mum a Ulway Mobile phone for seniors but it was not that easy to use! this phone however is the easiest phone I have seen.

Granted I did put the battery in and set it up with all her contacts in for her, which was easy but not for my mum :-)
If my mum thinks its easy, believe me it is EASY!! Talking button option, ICE, BIG Text option, Loud ring tones. Emergency button on back that calls a list of prople until one answers then gives exact location.

I'm not sure how you could make this phone any easier that it is.

This 'phone was bought as a replacement for my old 2G Doro that I had had for 7 plus years and was so easy to use. The newer 4G model is so complicated and difficult to use. I asked a tech savvy person to try and send a text. It took him 20 mins. He found four different ways, none of them obvious and each involved multiple buttons and much scrolling. I don't think an older person could cope with it. I couldn't. Although the camera is not overly important it would be nice to have one that took half decent pictures. Nothing about this 'phone has been improved since the old versions. Also I don't think is right that Doro are still selling the 2G 'phones when the networks will almost be discontinued this year. To paraphrase Jane Austen's Mr Knightley 'Badly done Doro, badly done'. I have given it 1 star as I received a refund.

Had this phone before, but unfortunately my husband spilt vinegar on it so it stopped working. I have had two others since, but have had to come back to this one because the others were not as good as this one, it’s comfortable to handle and very easy to work. Good clear screen and very, very easy to set up. I prefer the cradle charger to just the usb lead. The only negative is, the volume buttons on the side because I press them when I am holding the phone. Maybe a lock the key option would prevent this happening. All in all, I am really pleased with it. /

Egonomic!! For anyone with clumsy slow fingers, you try to compose and send a text message. Not possible communicating to others. Had to give up. Keys are too small.
