Are you ever wondering how much washing powder should be added for your washing? This Persil Ultimate capsules might be a good answer to you. It comes in pack of 38 capsules. Each capsule is designed for a standard wash (3-5 kg load). For heavy soiling, in hard water region or a large load (6-8 kg), you can simply wash with two capsules. In addition, this capsule works perfectly well at 30°C instead of 40°C in other washing powder products. Therefore it is more environmentally friendly. Its wash efficiency is not weakened at lower washing temperature. It is great at cleaning the common stains which are struggled to be cleaned using conventional washing products. In addition, it leaves a long lasting fragrance to your washed clothes. I think it is a great product for young professionals or university students who value the convenience the product offers.

These really do make a nice difference, that much so i have changed over to using these now. I have to put 2 in one wash but then i have a bigger washing machine and they come out smelling lovely. I'm really impressed with these and would recommend them to others as the long lasting smell on our clothes is something i keep getting asked about, my mother even gets the touch of comfort ones now.

In a nutshell:

Things I liked:

+ Ease of use - pop it in the back of the drum, add the washing and away you go. Very convenient.
+ Cleaning performance was great and clothes smelled fresh.

Things I didn't like:

- The price is more than just using powder, but I don't think unreasonably so. That's the trade off for the convenience. Currently £8.50 for 38 washes (if you Subscribe and Save, which you should even if it's just for one delivery) and I think that's fair.

Do I recommend it?

Yes, absolutely. Very convenient and excellent washing performance.

Have no complaints about the Bio capsules. I tend to use bio capsules for tougher stains and these work well. I also think they smell quite nice too.

The child-proof boxes are a bit of a challenge. Sometimes I can open them straight away - squeeze and lift - sometimes I end up wanting to throw the box across the room because it's just not happening. So, hopefully as they've got me stuck, they would also slow down any curious children.

I have now tested the capsules on multiple washes, and they performed really well. They cleaned well even at the lower temperature I set, and the overall aroma of the dried washing was very pleasant, with a crisp fresh smell. I like the size of the boxes as they store away easily and stack without any problem.

The washing machine is used at least once a day but often multiple times especially in the summer, and the children often changing clothes several times. I found this handled a quick smaller wash at a low temperature really well, and still removed stains.

Overall these performed well for both small and large washes even at a lower washing temperature. They removed stains and unwanted smells from the washing, leaving it all soft and fresh. I like the eco storage, and can’t really fault them so have given them the full rating.
