Love Cerve products. This Spf50 day cream is light and easy to apply. It soaks into the skin quickly without leaving a greasy look as some sunscreens do. It is very hydrating and my skin looks and feels well moisturised once it’s applied. I have used now for about 12mth and been on holiday only applying this on my face and have never burnt or had any irritations from it. I apply everyday even in the winter to protect my skin from the harmful rays of the sun.

This is the only suncream that doesn't melt and get in my eyes and cause stinging and watering. It's a mineral (not chemical) type protection so it does look white when it first goes on but this disappears within minutes, although I should point out I have medium tone skin (i.e. not black). I personally believe mineral SPFs are safer and kinder to the skin than chemical. If you've not heard of mineral vs chemical I urge you to look it up - it's important to know, as chemical SPFs have been implicated in coral bleaching and other environmental manmade problems. This moisturiser makes my skin feel fabulously soft and hydrated all day long and I'm confident it gives 100% protection as I had absolutely no sun sensitivity issues when I had IPL skin treatments last year in June, when the sun is at its strongest. I rate this very highly indeed.

I bought this in the hopes it wouldn't irritate my flared up eczema skin. It seems quite gentle though it does sting slightly, I don't use it often so it's not a major issue but maybe I need to try a different brand. I like the texture, it feels creamy but not gloopy. It only moisturises my skin slightly but I just needed a gentle suncream that I can use when I go outside, as the emollients I use make skin more susceptible to burning. It doesn't leave any white marks. The smell is quite neutral, a slight suncream fragrance but not overpowering like a lot of suncreams. If I get it on my lips it doesn't taste of much so I'm intentionally using it for that because apparently we're supposed to put some kind of sunblock on our lips. The main downside for me is the cost. I don't need as much as when using other suncreams but it is still expensive for what it is. It's a tiny bottle with an annoying pump. The pump only lets out a tiny amount of suncream, but two pumps is too much suncream. It would be nice if the pump could give the right amount in just one pump, I suspect they just need to make the hole bigger.

Overall it's good but it's just expensive for what it is, and the container is annoying
