The much anticipated Huawei Honor Play 5A has finally been announced in China earlier today during an official press event held in Beijing.
According to Zhao Ming, CEO for Huawei, the Honor Play 5A will be a perfect smartphone for the younger and youthful populations. During the same occasion, he also claimed that Huawei Honor Play 5X has already hit the 8 million sales mark from the day it was released, and is confident that the device will eventually reach the 10 million mark.
For those who are interested, the official specs for the device is as follows : 5.5″ HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP main camera, 8MP front camera for selfies, and a 3,100 battery. The smartphone measures 154.3×77.1×8.45cm and weighs just 168g.
The Honor 5A will also come with a price tag of just 699 Yuan (~$92). There are 6 different hues available for the device namely White, Gold, Yellow, Pink, Blue and Black.
