LynxBloxxed, 14 Mar 2024Where has the smallness gone?! Anyway, still a good phone. The smallness is in the Zenfone 11, not the Zenfone 11 Ultra. Please wait for just a while.
It's official now, awesome, big phone, what are you bringing into the "ultra"s tables? The specs are the same if not worse than other "ultra" phones, why should someone choose this over the others now? And 2 years of software update... lmao
release the "normal"/compact ZF11 now, to see if it actually worth looking into.
AnonD-1147675, 14 Mar 2024Cmon people, this phone is SO much better than S24+ and even S24U in most regards: 1: A bigge... moreDon't make me wrong it's a decent phone for it's money, but Samsung it's slightly better in my opinion.much better updates, better camera,s pen, software is smoother.
This device should have had a 6" screen with the same screen resolution. Also, only 50 MP camera?
Hmm. It seems it was a bit too much for Asus to upgrade the damn selfie camera to support 4K resolution as every other "ultra" phone.
While it's refreshing to see headphone jack, LTPO and telephoto all in one single phone, cannot buy this due to:
1. Non unlockable bootloader
2. No microSD slot despite increased size
3. Lack of reliability and poor service. Zenfone 9 has poor microphone during phonecalls and Asus didn't fix it. Don't know if that exact problem exists in ZenFone 10 and 11. But this shows Asus phones lack the reliability expected from such expensive price. There are also bugs here and there in Zen UI which Asus doesn't fix.
Sony phones on the other hand is much more reliable. Yes they don't have LTPO and the 5v lacks telephoto but whatever the phones have work without any issue. Xperia 5ii is overall very reliable phone and there's no bug even though UI is a bit limited. Same for XZ1. Those phones can be used even today as daily driver had it not been for worn out batteries. This gives confidence that other Sony phones would be like those. Not to mention the microSD slot.

Wrong. It has the BEST UI out there: stock Android! And with the awesome notification shade toggle-able on/off. I switched from a Galaxy (an old one though) to a Zenfone 9, and I love the UI.
no qhd lower ppi with only 2 years OS updates..no thnx asus

No micro SD is a bummer but 512gb of storage may make me consider this at a good price.
Not for this price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AnonD-1147675, 14 Mar 2024Excuse me for rambling so much, it's just that as a person that constantly plugs/unplugs ... moreNot to belittle your point, I agree and jacks should be on all new phones, but there are many bluetooth headphones that can connect to multiple devices at once.
Excuse me for rambling so much, it's just that as a person that constantly plugs/unplugs their headphones between their phone and laptop (let's see you pair/unpair that via Bluetooth...), and as a happy Zenfone 9 owner, I just get so happy when a high-end phone has a 3.5mm jack.
DarlingYext, 14 Mar 2024It could've been a plus, but it's not, none of the 3 cameras are any good on this ph... moreTo be honest, the telephoto samples do seem to suck... :(
But what do I know, I shoot with a Lumix MFT camera.
As for improvements over the Zenfone 10 and 9, it's mainly the telephoto, and 1600 nits HBM, my Zenfone 9 can only hit 800 nits.
Downgrades, apart from the size, include no charger, no swipe-on-the-power-button, and a glass back.
